My Story
Hi, I’m Hanna Barnhart — certified business coach, artist, entrepreneur, and mother.
And like you, I wanted more than just a paycheck — I wanted a life I could actually live on my terms.
I did everything right, until I realized it wasn't right for me.
For years, I moved through life on autopilot — thriving in the corporate world, advising executive leaders, managing strategy, and checking all the boxes that were supposed to lead to “success.” I earned my Master’s in Business and Entrepreneurship, built a creative business on the side, and kept climbing.
But when I became a mother, everything shifted. What once made sense began to unravel. The version of success I had been chasing no longer fit the woman I was becoming. I didn’t want to spend my days in meetings that drained me or hand off my baby to daycare especially in those first raw months of learning to be a mother.
I didn’t want to build someone else’s dream.
I wanted Time, Presence, Freedom, Purpose.
I wanted to stay close during those precious early years — not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and creatively.
So I made a choice — a bold, life-changing one.
My husband and I sold nearly everything, moved our little family to Spain, and I chose a different path — one that aligned with my values and honored the season I was in.
Now, I bring together the full spectrum of my journey:
- A decade of hands-on experience growing my own art and product-based business
- Corporate expertise in planning, systems, and leadership
- A grounded, strategic, and realistic approach to growth as a Certified Business Coach
- And the deeper inner work and mindset practices that I’ve gathered from years of research and application.
But even more than that — I bring the wisdom of transformation.
Motherhood taught me how to pause. How to be still in the unknown. How to trust the unfolding.
It showed me that growth isn’t always loud — sometimes it’s quiet, sacred, and slow… like wings forming in the dark.
That’s why I created Chrysalis Creative Coaching — to support women and mothers who are in their own season of becoming.
I know what it’s like to crave more — more meaning, more balance, more autonomy. I know what it’s like to start over in a new season, with big dreams and a baby on your hip.
